Best Casual Style: Deepika Padukone

Recently, I've been seeing that casual looks really don't do well with celebrities. Especially when they're at the airport. Organized-Chaos is what they seem to go for..but really, they just end up looking like a hot-mess. After doing very little research, I decided that I like Deepika's casual look best. Her outfits are something anyone could pull off on a casual day. They look pretty, comfortable and most importantly, not too dressy or sloppy!

What's your opinion? Any star styles you prefer?

Copy Cat or Coincidence?: Malese and Deepika

Malese Jow wore this super sexy Bebe dress at the Breaking Dawn premier last November (2011) and Deepika Padukone wore the exact same dress this year at a T-shirt launch. Jow decided to go with more natural make up, black heels and a sleek bun. Deepika contrasted the black lace with red lipstick, nude peep-toe heels and a simple 'half-do'.

Of course both looked great...but who wore it better? This may sound biased...but DEEPIKA! I love that she went ahead with a bold red lipstick to bring a pop of colour to the otherwise neutral ensemble. The dress also flatters her body a little better than Jow's (who has a less curvy body). The only thing I would change about her outfit is her hair, in my opinion, instead of letting half her hair down, a pony tail or loose bun would've helped bring out the dress more.

Both ladies decided to go with minimal accessories, and I think they were right to do it!

What do you think? Malese..or Deepika?

Bipasha Basu: Lovely in Lace

Bipasha shows off her toned body in this formfitting lace number. She looks absolutely stunning! Everything looks just perfectly placed in the pictures above! I would have loved to see a small pop of colour to break the brown and black consistency though.

Kareena Kapoor: Red Hot Jumpsuit

With this red jumpsuit, it seems as if Kareena Kapoor's just exploring her fashion limits. There's a certain risk of looking sloppy in a jumpsuit, but she carries it well and looks completely calm and collected. Her choice to leave the earrings behind was smart, but then also not wearing a necklace makes her look just a bit too simple.

Malaika Arora Khan: Stunning Maxi Dress

Wow!! Malaika must have had all eyes on her in this gorgeous soft grey maxi-halter-dress. She let the dress do all the talking by adding just a simple golden bracelet. I love the elegant simplicity of the dress which has a beautiful neckline and how the dress shows off her back and toned muscles. It was very smart of her too keep her hair tied back in a ponytail to keep it simple.

Sonam Kapoor: Vintage Beauty

Personally, I think of Sonam Kapoor as the most fashionable actress in Bollywood. She's not afraid with playing with fashion, styles, colours, patterns and such. Ofcourse there are times where I think she could do a lot better, but..nobody's perfect right?

I couldn't decide whether it was the dress that I didn't like..or the way she was wearing it. But after much thought, I realized that it's not the dress, but rather the fact that she was wearing it. I think this Christian Dior dress is put together well in terms of makeup/shoes/hair etc. but it makes her look a lot younger than she is. Of course she pulled it off as sweet, cute and classy, but I'd expect more from a fashion icon at age 27.

Bold and Beautiful: Red Pants

For so long now, I've wanted to know how to wear a few things, and get it right: jumpsuit, neon shirts, hi-low skirts, maxi dresses, red pants, denim top and blazer. So when I saw these two ladies rocking three of the seven things, I couldn't help but jump in happiness!

First, I'd like to talk about Deepika's effortless casual look. Looking super sleek in this outfit, she wore her red pants with a denim shirt. I love the silent studs around the collar and pockets! Overall, with the makeup and hair, this outfit is one of my favourites by Deepika.

And Hazel (I hadn't heard of her till today, but I'm already loving her style) keeps it oh-so-chic with a floral shirt paired with a white boyfriend blazer. The only thing I would change about this outfit is the hair which is brought to one side...I've just never been a fan of that. Nevertheless, she looks great! :)

Both ladies chose nude pumps, and somewhat neutral colours. Main articles in both outfits are from Zara.

Let me know what you think!
